La Coop fédérée regroups over a hundred local wholesalers benefiting of services related to supply chain, management, finance, and communication. The co-operation offers increased sales and negotiation power to its affiliates. Each local co-operative member of the federation is able to operate one or several retail stores and can develop at its own pace to reach its growth objectives. 
Three sectors are the heart of its activities: agriculture supplies; hardware & agriculture machinery; Sonic petroleum, the biggest independent petroleum and propane distributor in Quebec.
